Two of Memo#1: A Curiousity. Our first TT memo (I think) was from Greg Boyle to Rich Meyer. For some reason, it seems that there were two copies, even though it wasn't CC'd to anyone else, so far as we know.
Both are enclosed below. The color differences are unimportant, as those could come from the white-balance of different cameras, but notice that one is taken on a desk, since we can see the desk, and it's torn, missing things that exist in the original verison. The crinkles don't match either.
Curiouser and curiouser.

One thing that sticks out is that the newer memo changed the addressee's name from Richard to Joe...
EDIT: Referring to Joseph Silver, perhaps?

Actually, the crinkles are identical - as if it is a photoshop effect.
The "Joe:" salutation is disturbing (PM error?)

Perhaps, but if so, why create a brand new link to the same old memo? This was just now found, so I gotta think there's some new proof here to be found.
All of the other text is identical though...

yep yep Yeah, in overlaying the images, I noticed that the crinkles DO match, which shows that TT uses an automated message crumpler, probably salvaged from CMH, which was still in operation when the device was all the rage, prior to the dawn of the automated shredding machine.
However, the 'photos' are taken from different angles, so the crinkles going through the words differ and such, showing that these are in theory 2 different sheets of paper. Could be one was a typo, and so he made it again, could be he sent one, BCC, to Rich's boss.
Regardless, how did JC get both copies? or is JC "Joe C____"? (Joe Cilver?)

there is also a new posting of the other memo as well, the only plain difference is that the file size is different from the original. also, all 3 newly posted document images have the naming scheme ua.jpg, ub.jpg, and uc.jpg.

maybe this is really obvious, but something else I just realized makes me think that we are on the right track with the alternate version of memo1.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
in jc's last email he encoded the message:
"the picture you see is flawed"
the new version of memo1 is titled uc.jpg
of course it has been noted that the name richard has been changed to joe, but what does it mean?

MaxPower, in my opinion, that is one hell of a catch! I think that makes perfect sense and is practically pushing us towards the new, "flawed" memo. You're contributing quite a lot tonight for a supposed newbie/lurker - welcome to the crew!
So we know the memo is flawed... what does it mean? Should we just focus on the obvious change (the name), or the more subtle ones as well? (different angle of picture, tear at the bottom, etc.)

it's hard to say, especially because the document1 link now seems to link to the jpeg of the memo that is addressed to richard (or a somehow seemingly unnoticeably different version of it)

Okay, so why isn't the 'joe' memo there anymore?

I don't know if this will help anyone or not. but ua looked like it had some text like the newspaper clipings. So I took it into my paint and played with it a bit. I can't make out any text. Maybe I need new glasses.. but I did come up with this image.. maybe it's me but on the lower right side that almost looks like a tunnel system. I don't know if it matches the other maps. I haven't had a chance to compare them and it's time to go home. But I thought I'd throw it up here 'fore I leave.

Messing around with that letter to the Dread House contestants, I couldn't figure out what those faded words in the back were. But, I may be nuts here... or is that a skull in the back? (edited file attached)
