OOC, are there any other known AIs in the Halo universe that seems to have this problem? It seems to me that the SP isn't supposed to be 'dormant', according to what I've heard of 'The Operator' and how she (it, whatever) felt about its/her crew. I think that Durga, the SP, and Melissa were all one entity, but this entity somehow was split into these 3 parts. The Operator seems to mix them all together, and not just call upon one at a time or use one as a reference. Of course, if I'm wrong about the Operator, then this whole SPEC would be wrong.

It's a bit presumptuous to call your own theories "official". Unless your theory is backed in writing by an acknowledged PM of this game (and since there aren't any, and most assuredly won't be until after the game is over) it's more than a little arrogant to label any kind of speculation as "official". After all, "official speculation" is something of an oxymoron, no?

I think rather than "approved theories", or "official theories", you should perhaps more correctly refer to them as "your theories".

Incitatus, I think you believe yourself to be a little more important then you really are... I don't mean to be rude, but you seem to really think a lot of yourself, except most of the stuff you've said on this forum has long since been brought out by me several weeks back, and all you've done is add on the evidence that has stacked up over the past few weeks after I long since stopped fighting for the theory, as there was really very few people to fight against.

I believe a possible way to integrate the Sp and melissa is for the Sleeping princess to "kiss the frog" or let the pious flea !grope or !attach her. I believe this will allow the fea to integrate the two parts and himself into an established whole. He even said as much when trying to convince the Princess. Of course we should only encourage this if we have proof of the pious flea not being a covenant agent or against the human race. There is still not enough information for us to determine his motives at this time. We should keep this theory in mind and watch the fleas actions in the weeks to come to see if we get enough proof to determine his intentions.
