 [RABBITHOLE] Matrix-Metacortechs Reloaded?

I got this first of a series of emails on October 1st, ostensibly from one of the elite hax0rs from the Metacortechs game. My favorite actually...

I quickly drive the crimson stars
But the beasts love through the bright sheep.
Why does the day slide so secretly and brightly?
Why is a salesman?
A door rises quickly above the aging flowers.
The ships rise

Borsch-poo or nothingness...

On October 2nd, I received another from a different hax0r:

with the hell you've put me through, i'd at least hope you'd have noticed our CALL. call me bitter, but I think i've earned at least that much of your oh so valuable time... if you don't get it, spill the word, let others help!

And therefore are they very dangerous.
I rather tell thee what is to be fear'd

The original Shakespearian text, btw, is identical except for the last word, which was changed from "him" to "this."

Goodness, these ghosts are very impatient, aren't they? Wink They also didn't know how to find Ozy, so I think that's why we weren't entirely sure how to proceed, since we weren't sure we had all the pieces. Also, I just got the e-mail from Scratch. He has NOT mellowed over the last 12 months, at all. Scritchety!

Also, "A funny thing happened on the way" is naturally finished to the words, "to the forum."

The image attached to that is the word, "share." OK, OK, we get it! We just didn't know if we had all the bits, since the initial speculation was that we'd have to combine our bits to get a full message. Smile

(Just letting you know our thought process so far, or at least, my thoughts as we've been trying to suss out the code, here)

So, ozy never recieved his and Clay is out of town for the weekend, so we weren't sure if we had all the pieces. Wolf & Andy's duplicated others, so now we're thinking there are just the 4...

That one-less-bit in mello's a bit worrisome, but I bet it'll all work out alright.

That language is Dutch AFAICT (my mum's Dutch, so hopefully Gisk won't come and prove me wrong!). But given that I'm just logging out to go to bed, I'm not gonna be any more useful than that ;P

Fi, no worries. The texel text is actually the output you get when you enter "texel" into Googlism.com.

I believe (right, guys?) that we determined that the last line was the only one changed from the output for us. Smile

So the Dutch should be inconsequential to the solve. Hopefully.

ALL YOUR EMAIL ARE BELONG TO US.

Sorry, urchin d00dz, but I have apparently been garbage-collected and processed right outta the mix. You are apparently sending your emails to me to the correct address, at least NOW you are (my Yahoo addy), but I ain't gettin' em, still. Sorry!!! Crying or Very sad

I am all mad that I haven't been able to talk to y'all, because I've been meaning to ask Caesar for quite some time now exactly what sort of dressing he prefers on his salads. Wink

Another note: I tried to write back to Scratch, since he was so salty, but I got no love, only a returned/undeliverable.

Le sigh.

I also got the mello mail on October 1 but didn't get the later one, even though it had my address on the list of CCs.

(edit: I suppose it's possible that I got the scratch mail but deleted it as spam. Sorry scratch! )

No idea what our little buddies are up to or where it's going but they're obviously back and aren't any more patient than they used to be...
