Oh man! I must have submitted my email address to Syzygy YEARS ago when it first appeared. And I check my email just now and there's the video. Of course I was unnerved cause I've seen too many videos and images in ARGs since The Beast to expect something freaky.

So I have returned! I'll be catching up on this forum in the next few days. It's just weird weird weird that I get that email now, after many years of submitting mine.

I'm curious: which site did you submit your e-mail to? Did you write to curious at projectsyzygy dot com, or was it some other submission? If you did write to curious, did today's e-mail come to the address that you wrote from?

thanks in advance

Poor Italy... We can't play because there's no translation in Italian of any of the websites, you need to be able to understand a really good English to play these games ;(

Ah yes, but wouldn't it be nice to find
www.cittaperplessa.com
somewhere and have to translate the whole site in English for the rest of the world to join in ?

LOL I'd love to Smile
Anyway maybe there's a kind of support that the international player can give to solve the game, for example I knew clearly what the phrases in latin meant because we study Latin at the high school... I mean, I'll give my support for what I can give, as anyone else is doing Smile

...And I hope someone will launch an ARG here in Italy. Wait! Maybe I should do it Smile

F.O.R.

PS: Oh, and for those of you reading this and wondering if I've encrypted the whole message, nah, sorry it's just Italian. Hopefully he might find something in one of the major Italian newspapers Smile

Also maybe the overdub is the results of Sarah Covington's fake study to get more money for shoes. As described in 5957496696.cache. the title "Subject: Civilisation and Late Stage Urbanisation, A Phase 2 Consumer Transition" sounds like it would fit this overdub.

Just popping in to say I agree with this.
Like Sarah, Elizabeth, Juliane and Lyssa are working on research projects like this for Henrik.

Or is that obvious?

Just getting into this today. I too submitted my email address about 1.5 years ago and just this morning got an email. Don't remember which site.

Just posting because I read through each page of this thread, and I was suprised no one mentioned this specific clue

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=36156#36156

which I found quite relevant.

I agree that the video voiceover is referring to inhabitants of the alternate universe, and judging from the joke survey mentioned in the shoe emails, this is probably the field of the Academy people (especially since one person referred to thinking about "them").

Just a question, but how much speculation of this type is kosher for a thread like this? Because I could go on. Everything I've got so far is based on fact, but I don't want to go off-topic, or something.

I agree it's not relevant and we already knew it was filmed in Tokyo. I only posted the link because someone was talking about looking up the phone number to verify an address or somesuch.

Newspaper (USA Today Feb 17th)

Hey, I have been watching the Project come a long for a very long time now.
I picked up a USA Today and I found something interesting...

"IN SEARCH OF
LOST. The Cube. Reward Offered.

not only an object of great
significance but also a
technological wonder
www.perplexcity.com"

I am sorry if someone has mentioned this already.

Look - it even has its own thread: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8974

Edit: Sorry - don't mind me. I'm on trout patrol this evening and you came in at the end of my shift. I really am a nice person most of the time. Cept if your name is Strifey, Incyr or Gabe Very Happy

Then prepare to be sorry. And use the Search function more often, lest ye be marked as a scalliwag.

I dunno if someone's asked this, and if it's been answered, but as far as I can tell, the video's from shinjuku, right? Even if it isn't, it's in Japan. That's for sure. So, why is it in Japan? Is there any reason for it yet? Does it just... look cool? From what I can figure out, everything we've gotten so far has pointed to London or Britain or the likes being the central point of this game. I can understand if the newspapers are just going to be ads for it, or clues for us with a little rabbit-hole for the people who get interested in it. Even if the blanks turn out to be, say, TV ads or what not. They could do one on NBC, and the next day, or week, do one on BBC-whatever. Or, more probably, Sky... net, was it? I'd think that'd get a few more of the wanted people's attention, judging by the way this is shaping up.

Sorry for the many questions, I'm just trying to figure these things out in my head.
