[UPDATE] New Sentinel Editorial (April 4th) Haven't seen this mentioned, and there's a thread complaining that there's no update today, but there's a new editorial (complete with a new drawing of our old pal Sente) on the front page of the Sentinel entitled "Kiteway's Role Revisited ".

Looking at the future for the Half-Filled Jug. Looks like maybe patience is a virtue

We warmly welcome our Earthly readers, and encourage their input on how to establish a fair and intelligent two-way dialogue between our civilisations
Well, we know two-way communication already exists: we can see sites they've setup (Sentinel, ScarlettKite), and they can receive our emails. But perhaps they are looking for something a little more responsive than email? When they say "fair and intelligent two-way dialogue", do you think they mean something like a forum? or a blog from earth's side? or online chat? or 'dialogue' as in speech? what would be considered "fair" and "intelligent"?
just [spec]ing wildly here. probably going out of control

The first letters don't result in anything, stand-alone or ROTed.

There are a couple of headings under the archives which lead to blank articles :

I guess the PMs need to clean that bit up.

Nice one worker!
Aside from that, a couple of in game thoughts...
Are we now competing against Adrian Hons group to find the cube, if not why doesn't he contact us? As was said above by Demontague, do we therefore need some web presence in game (i.e. not unforums)?
Why are our goverments not involved? Why is it being left to us? Not that I'm complaining, but...
If its so important, why are we stalling so much, why is contact being supposedly left to Sente's daughter, and why don't they give us a clue as to who the hell they are!!!
<pant>
I know, I know, patience.
Anyway, love the the way this is shaping up![/i]

I think we ARE Adrian's group. He can't contact us as that would break ARG rules (which I suppose also apply IG)
As for Governments, I guess they wanted some intelligent help

We previously knew of AH as OOG, as a PM, but now an IG person has mentioned him, doesn't that make him IG?
<brain hurts>

The way I see it is that he IS in game. His part IG is that he's organised a Game to encourage us to find their cube. After all, we know how much they love puzzles over there. Organising the search like an ARG just fits in with their way of thinking. But just because it's an in-game ARG, he still can't contact us about it as he's an IG PM.
<brain also hurts>

OMG, I was just thinking about this last night. A lot. I came to the conclusion that this is not a normal ARG, even with my limited experience. I agree with you Brat, Adrian and the other PM's are in game. In a way they've became their own puppetmasters. And, as they're characters, in theory we should be contacting them as much as Sente... Actually, that doesn't sound right...
Anyway, what if all this is telling us that there isn't supposed to be a curtain?
(Don't worry, my brain melted with this as well)
