Yep, quite a few people from months ago
I'm sure someone of a higher status than I will politely remind you to search before posting now

Probably... Probably because it is a cleaner HTML practice; all web clients will default to index.html if there is no address specified in the link. It's redundant to specify index.html

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.perplexcity.com/2718281828/index.html
you see a phrase
if you then
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
print the page or print preview
you find a hidden message
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
that reffers you to /tmp/httpd/errorlog/
and at that point you get a directory full of notes i haven't read yet

Actually, it has come up several times in this forum. If you can't find it in here (which should be found using Search; I'm not sure why it wouldn't), it also has an extensive treatment on the wiki.

Doing a search on /tmp/httpd/errorlog/ doesn't turn up anything, but it's not because the information isn't there - but the fact that for some reason the search seems to ignore it in an url.
It sometimes helps to get a bit creative with your keywords. A keyword search on errorlog will show up a post complementing the original finder on this. Scroll up a few posts and you'll find the original post (and this one isn't in the e thread).
Annoying, I know, but both the wiki and the primer are great reads to get caught up on stuff. I personally like the primer better, but then I'm a sucker for a nicely formatted guide.
Rule of thumb: if you've think you've found something new - research all available posted information to verify. Because with this many people searching and scouring the sites, it's a very slim chance that you'll be the one to find something new. Not to say it doesn't happen, but it's almost like winning the lottery at this point in time.

The primer has been updated with all of the current info: http://www.tranzed.net/project_syzygy/index.htm
Well, almost. It doesn't have the transcript of the ad today. But somehow I don't think it'll change much.
The Wiki is pretty up to date as well: http://tinyurl.com/4vc4b
I know it's a lot to go through all these forums. That's why I asked if the Primer and Wiki have all the current information, and the answer I got back was that they do. So instead of reading 3700 posts, you can spend 10 minutes at the primer or 10 minutes and the Wiki and be all caught up.
Pretty cool, huh?

Whatever the case may be, trout or not, it's old info.
