In addition to the ones Ellipses mentioned, I've recently had a response from David.SevernSPLATaresstation.com and a ... reaction ... when I emailed Chris.ApplegateSPLATaresstation.com.

I haven't sent the translation to anyone yet, because I was hoping to refine it a bit. lurker just pointed me to another Esperanto reference, so I'll see if that helps at all, then send it to Ohmega and Hanna later today. Go ahead and send it to anyone else you think might be interested.

Here's a slightly revised version. The main difference is I now think the first line says "sent their gates distant and wide," suggesting that there was a network of gates around the solar system (galaxy?). Wild!

 		A couple more possible tweaks:

I think the first bit says 'Say, the STAR PEOPLE set their gates'

Does anyone else think the word 'Say' at the beginning sounds a bit odd? It's the way you would start telling a funny anecdote, or a joke - not deliver an important message.

The words TRANKVILIGI PAROLANTO could be interpreted as 'soothsayer' instead of 'calm speaker'

So, the gist of this message is that the Star People have been wronged by the Merzkeen... and we should feel sorry for them ... but we are also being tasked to help Jacob escape from them?

 		I thought the word 'say' from the robot sounded more like a command. Jacob talks about that, he states:

Not sure that we are saving him from the star people right now although...
