[QUESTION] Has it started yet? I have gotten myself a little confused because i have read everything on the orbital colony forum and took it all in, but alot of people have said that it has started and alot of otherpeople said it hasn't. If anyone can tell me the truth then i would be glad, and if it has started point me in the right direction. if it hasnt started any idear when cheers!

To tell you the truth - we're not sure.
We don't know enough about the pace of this ARG to determine if it has actually started yet. According to the META site, they said that when it started, we would know.
So, although I could be wrong, I don't believe it has started yet.

I agree with Luke that it is not entirely clear if it has started yet, but as long as Orbital Colony.com still says "soon to be launched ARG ", I think it's best to interpret the few bits of action we've seen so far to be rather polished teasers...

I'd have to disagree, If u look at the orbital colony META page and compare it with the existing orbiconcorp.com, you'll find that the META is so primitve that it almost feels abandoned. I think that they might have lost the password for orbitalcolony or they would have updated it to keep a little more in style with orbiconcorp and *not to be a ***** but..* in any style at all.

They have updated the http://www.orbitalcolony.com/
Webpage and added an extra question and answer on the question and answer page. I know it has already ben said but just to clear this thread up, it hasn't started yet for sure. i will post again confirming the start for any wonderers like me out there!

It seems to have even pre-launched a bit too prematurely. Literally nothing seems to be happening.

I'm still confused as to whether or not the game has started. No movement on the website since I last checked, though. Maybe we're waiting for something to come by mail?

Only they know that! unless we have overlooked something maybe...it has been done in the past!

Should we be scouring the previously-solved puzzles for possible missed clues? The past 2 newsletters & their "puzzles" left me feeling vaguely unsatisfied (kinda like when you go to a buffet & just have a side salad).

I had the same thought ... since the CC app and the brochure produced actual messages from Steven to Seth, I was expecting to find a similar message in the newsletters as well, especially since the one message indicated that Steven was unable to use e-mail at this time.
That's why I was looking into the images using numerical codes from the 2nd newsletter ... but no luck yet.

I still have the feeling that the solve of the wordsearch puzzle in the first brochure yields more than what we got from it until now. I cannot imagine that the opportunity of having a puzzle in a very logical place and making it part of advancing the story was not taken...
Still, after lots of puzzling, I get nothing out of it, and the PM's would surely have found a way to nudge us in the direction of things we missed.
I guess we just have to keep on waiting some more.

i'm torn between whether it's up to us to discover something that will get the game started, and if we are just supposed to keep waiting for them to start it. maybe we shouldn't be wasting so much time on a PM training game and instead focus on a normal one. this has been going on for a LONG time now.

Well, "PM training game" just means that it's made by first-time PMs. The impression that I get from the meta site is that it started out as a not-quite-real loose-curtain training project, but turned into a real game that just happens to be made by PMs with no previous PMing experience. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part. I'm not sure, but I'm still holding out hope.
As for what we should do now, that depends on how bored you are. It certainly wouldn't hurt anything to keep exploring to see if we missed anything. Maybe the game has stalled, and maybe there's more there for us to find. Who knows? Well, the PMs do, but that's besides the point. The point being that, if you wanna search for stuff, please go right ahead!
