[SOLVED PUZZLE] Dates of Death Lucky was kind enough to mention that the nine Dates of Death that the D.C. Cemetery crowd collected today would unlock the first of eight new cards. Perhaps some kind person will post those dates somewhere...
Edit for [SOLVED] tag -- hope it works

Thanks!
The first few dates of death (10-1-3-11) spell JACK. Unfortunately the rest spell out QCURN. I figured that'd be too easy...

Can someone post the exact wording from Lucky's note to the Live crew? I lost the link to the flickr photos.

I think I'm barking up the wrong tree here, but after a quick look, here are the days of the week for the dates listed:
9/10/1850 - Tues
2/1/1867 - Fri
6/3/1860 - Sun
1/11/1855 - Thurs
1/17/1862 - Fri
9/3/1852 - Fri
9/21/1900 - Fri
11/18/1866 - Sun
10/14/1880 - Thurs
I figured we could use all the angles we could get.

Sorry to keep posting multiple times but I wanted to keep seperate thoughts.
EDIT: Also, I noticed we have 3 even numbered days and 6 days odd numbered...
5 of the odd numbers are prime numbers: 1,3,11,17,3 (21 isn't prime)
I'm losing myself here.

This could be telling us something to do when combining the numbers to spell a name. My guess
unknown - there is one unknown number so fill one additional one in
again - repeat one of the numbers/letters
forever - infinity = I?
lifetime - for one person the lenght of the LIFESPAN is the clue, not the DOD
other interpretations are clearly possible (likely?).
Shad0, why haven't your cloudmaker-honed talents solved this yet?

Tried using the months and dates, anagrammed them and got nothing. But this was kind of neat "CIA JACK IRAQ FBI JUNK".

This could be Merle Freeman who lived a litle over a year (393 days, I think)

Lucky's letter says:
thedealer wrote:
You'll need these DODs later tonight.
Because it says "these DODs" and not "some of these DODs," I assume we need all nine of them.
The letter also says:

From this, I deduce (possibly incorrectly, but so what else is new?) that the other information gathered actually has nothing to do with this particular puzzle, but was simply a challenge-and-reward (T-shirts) for our intrepid colleagues who could not be online hunting down cards today.
My theory: Richardson's first name is hidden in the dates.

Bait They really want us to get this our they wouldn't have put up the eight card reward as bait.
I don't think we'll get any of the roaring 20's cards until we solve this!

What got me started on my odd and even tangent was the sentence:
Quote:
Some people's days are numbered.
Some? Everyone's days are numbered, but for this puzzle, "some?"
There is something about the numbers that we were given that sets them apart from any others. A property or a quality that will help us figure out what could be richardson's real name, for instance.
