Dear Anonymous Guest,
In hopes of keeping this discussion on topic (though I'm not necessarily sure that this^ is off-topic), I responded to you here Smile Smile

I realize you, Yanka, wanted to move this to the little-boxes thread, but I am going to spin off a response here--you'll see why in a sec. I basically took the idea of mister A. Nonymous and "kicked it up a notch." Instead of listing known files and folders on little-boxes, I expanded it to include all websites (but reduced it to include only folders, not files). I am a little but confused as to why /pics/, /backup/, and *.sql scripts were included in the original list. I could not find reference to those anywhere, and they do not seem to exist on the live site.

Anyway, here is my list of all known folders. This might help us solve the "file cabinet" gif mystery.

http://netninja.com/scrapbook/Metacortex/url_folders.txt

While I have done my best to ensure everything has been included, please send me any updates or corrections you may have.

With references to steps and going to the top: how about another file with binary that represents the second "1" of the fibronacci sequence? If anything else other than the 0s and 1s is changed in the file name, there could be two.

Spekyoolaysean.

BriEnigma -

For the sake of completeness, you might want to add to your directory list:

http://www.metadex.net/usr/pgairden/bio/
http://www.metadex.net/usr/pgairden/

Only one that wasn't on your list that I could see.

http://www.little-boxes.net/documents/

Containing

http://www.little-boxes.net/documents/blackout.jpg
http://www.little-boxes.net/documents/redlake.jpg
http://www.little-boxes.net/documents/frogs.txt

And of course Paintover has the same usrchin folder as TheAquapolis, but we can ignore that.

.jpg to .gif, maybe .btw?

I have been trying variations on using BTW (from the Congrats image) as a file exension name, but no luck (for example: "00001001.btw"). I also tried .obtw, but nothing as well. Anyone think that might lead somewhere?

Yeah, I thought about that as well, Soup, but I haven't been able to get anywhere with BTW, OBTW, or ONBTW (checking directory names and possible extensions for earlier photos).

I'm starting to wonder what "let's view it from the top" really means. Does it mean forget about the Urchin subdir and start from the TLD theaquapolis.com, or does it mean go to the "top" of everything, meaning either metacortechs.com or underscorehosting.com?

I feel antsy that I may have tried the right words / directories, only on the wrong site...

I can't believe I didn't see a hint in that, but, looking at it now, it seems that that directory would have to be rather obscure - like "urchins" was. Yesterday I even tried "starfish" etc.

Another thing: what if "Second verse, same as the first" simply means www.theaquapolis.com/theaquapolis/???? I can't try it out - I'm obviously doing something wrong, because I can't even login to /urchins.

P.S. I feel for you - now there are 3 new sites to add to your list.

Ok, this is probably a coencidence, but I had to mention it.

On PaintOver.net, there is a < ( = : | : = ) > symbol.

The < ( = and = ) > are hyperlinks going to different pages.

That leaves us with : | : separating them.

On this very message board, at the bottom of every page, I see:

: | : untheme by unfiction.com : | :

The : | : is the same. Do we see many : | : symbols on the net?

Sorry if I am chasing my own tail, was just kind of funny. I'm sure an admin will set me straight in the next post.

-HECK!

Yeah, and check out the font of "net" on paintover and compare it to the font of Unfiction's "alternate reality gaming" - at the top left on the page

[EDIT] Sorry, had to edit your quote to get rid of the smilies [EDIT]

Thanks for the addition. It's in there now, as well as the new sites (which seem pretty skimpy, directory-wise).

I posted that list, it was possible files and folders. Little Boxes use an Open Source document system called 'Support Information Tracker' that can be found here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sitr/
