Hmm....this could be good, I might acctually follow this, considering Triska is a dead dog and LCP is finished (for now?)

What could an escaped convict possibly want to give us, though?

It is definitely intriguing, despite being a little over a month away.

Thanks Very Happy

Dear James,
My son who is keeping a watch on the unforum community texted me your email address. He says that you are willing to meet him at the shell centre. I want to thank you for volunteering to help the cause. You will be rewarded in the future.

I was supposed to meet my brother today on a bench outside Bluewater shopping centre but he didn't show. I am become increasingly worried about my family. I wanted to keep them out of the mess I created but by a cruel twist of fate, somehow they got involved.

Thanks again for volunteering your assistance. If you need any further details please email me on this address. However I am still on the run so I may not get back to you instantly.

Dave

Recieved this today, I always thought Unfiction was out of game...

Hmm. I might give this a go too. I'm in the UK and while London isn't the closest place for me, it's close enough that I could make a day of it.

Anyone else want to meet up for the day?

UnFiction certainly is Out-Of-Game. While this means that Puppetmasters cannot use this area as a means to do in-game stuff, such as post messages from in-game characters, games have made reference to these forums within the context of their games before. It is up to the PM team if they want to acknowledge UF or not in their storyline.

(IMHO, however, if someone is trying to create an Alternate Reality game and chooses to link to a forum like UF, which is clearly not a part of the story's realm, then it makes things confusing for their player base. As an example, wouldn't a character be freaked out if they found a forum where people are dissecting every move that the character makes? And wouldn't having a character choose to make clear reference to UF make the player think that they have to take on a role here at UF in order to play the game?)

This has all been discussed at length in the UF META section, so take a quick scan in there if you are interested.
