I have a few point to make btw
1. Shocked Silly The Bagwell pages are the ONLY ones that don't show up on Google!

Just wait until the google bot comes around again, it will update it.

2. Dosen't Hyexistence live in Fort Meyers?

No, which is why Logic Phyber and others drafted me.

Quote:

3. How much time do you suppose we need to wait for an update? Rolling Eyes

This varies from game to game and from area to area within a game. Some may only update every 2 weeks, once or twice a week or may updatre constantly. It depends on several things:

1. The story line. Corporate sites may only update once in a long while, personal blogs may update every day. A sporatic opening in a dimensional rift that allows communication between two universes that opens up once every two or three weeks...

2. How much time the PM can realistically spend on the game. (Note, a kid in school or someone who works in a critical on call emergency response field may have considerably less time to devote to creating your fun)

Trust me, running a game is HARD, and always takes a lot more time than once might think. Your weekly update could take 10, 20 or more hours of work to set up, even if the basic content was created before the game began. When I was running a game, just handling e-mails from a reletively few players took me HOURS for ONE character plus extra time for every blog entry. Thank goodness I wasn't also responsible for the corporate websites and other characters. Learn patience. Your PM will thank you.

3. How fast Players solve puzzles and find new information. There *could* be a lot to the game but because players missed a clue, they haven't found the pages/e-mail/dead drop yet. Use the time to do some research, pull apart the information you do have and take a fresh approach to it.

In the mean time, Look for an update from ME, on Sunday at the latest regarding what happened at the real life meet up in Ft. Meyers. Depending on the form of the information, I may need to go to work to use a scanner, or I may need time to write up my notes.

In any game there is always room for improvement. I won't deny that. Keep in mind I also was more a lurker in this game and not really a player, but I am going to make a 5 hour round trip to collect whatever will be available, not because I think the PM is great, but because I love this community, and want players to have fun. If I am going to complain about the quality of a game, I am also going to do my best to help make it better as well. Smile

Um...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The PMs live in Ft. Meyers. The rest of the ARG players, that I am aware of, Me in West Palm Beach, Hellion lives just south of me, several (3?) in Miami, including Crispy, Bill in Tampa. Compared to California and New York areas, not that many really. Edit* I am referring to Florida, of course.

There's only nine other threads in this forum. You don't need to bump this one. It's not going to get lost. Confused

True. Illusionist, if this thread does "get lost" it is because the game imploded or ended successfully, and was moved to the archives.

This forum is a bit different than other ones, as you may notice of you take the time to look through other areas. If this game starts to generate a lot of information and messages, it will be given it's own section, just like Perplexity has currently. "Bumps" that are just that word, and not for some other reason (like joking with each other), are not considered "good manners" for this site. It may work well on other forums, but this *community* has a different structure. I would suggest you take the time to familiarize yourself with it. and read the WELCOME message read a few of the other threads and if you have the time, to please join us in the IRC chat room: irc.chat-solutions.org #unfiction
To get an idea about the flow of this community.

Thanks.

/me wanders off to ask Fireball to add a comment about "bumping" threads to the welcome message.

*edited because even with the spell check program on this computer for use, I still forget to use it...*

Me and Hyexistenz were working on the latest clue in the IRC forums and managed to reach the "ChatterCAP" file.
It just seems to be a previous recorded log.

Though it kinda proves KeyMaker is "listening in" on the phone calls.
