[PUZZLE?] WWPDP site in Atlantic

I've read a few posts that have speculated that this location is the Bermuda Triangle, but the site indicated by the dot is far too far south for that. I superimposed the map over a physical map of the Atlantic Ocean, and discovered that the site indicated by the dot is very close to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, the point from which the ocean floor of the Atlantic spreads. The point seems to be too far north to be the Saint Peter and Paul Rocks , and too far South to be in the Azores.

Well, what do you know. My vote is that this isn't supposed to reference an actual land mass location in the Atlantic, it's just fun with THE NUMBERS.

My guess is that its using the numbers to refer to a spot on the map, and in turn directing us to the 'Missing Organs' clue.

and 16 appears twice... and 4 is missing..

Wait, perhaps that means that 4 organs are missing? There are 3 mentioned on the website if I remember correctly, 2 lungs and a Pancreas. Any others? (perhaps something saying that someone is the 'heart' of the organisation?).

Co-ordinates

Bear in mind that the co-ordinates could also read

8 15 16N

42 23 4W

Co-ordinates are measured in degree's minutes and seconds...the difference in seconds is only a very small amount...

first time poster. yes, I know this isn't the place to start, but I thought I'd just jump right in since I'm not sure how far I'll get before the finals-beast gets me Rolling Eyes

I've been poking at this one all evening since I noticed it referenced on the forums. Are we sure that the text that comes up in the gray box is just filler? It seems like awfully unnecessarily complex filler to me--but I am new to ARGs and know next to nothing about cryptography, so I could be wrong. I do agree with previous speculation that the symbols appear to be what show up on a mac when you hit option and random keys.. but not having a mac readily available to me at the moment, I'll just hope someone is looking into that one somehow...

What I did notice is that only one of the locations appears to be over the bermuda triangle. If you look at the two map images, the cross is actually noticeably farther west than the dot. When you overlay the two images on photoshop (not exactly, unfortunately, since the maps seem to be scaled differently), the difference is still noticeable at that scale. I'd call it a glitch, except this clearly isn't noticeably for any of the 'legit' points in Africa. I attempted to overlay my image on google maps, but the issue of different maps being stretched in different ways (it's too post midnight for me to remember the term..) appears to be ever worse there. I can't seem to find any of the numbers showing up here. The cross is clearly over bermuda with a center around 25 N and 61 West (23 North if you'd like but 61 is, frankly, nowhere near 42), while the dot is outside the house of the cross and near 15 N and 42 W, which is a bit better for your numbers game, I guess.

Images attached. and happy hunting.

As a Mac user, I see those sort of codes all the time- when you open up anything compiled in a text editor. SWF, gif, anything compiled. What you don't see compiled are the numeric strings and although I'm new (at least to posting), my guess would be that the numeric strings are the important part, while the rest is just filler. There's nothing to indicate what it would be if it were compiled and you wouldn't expect anything compiled to have the aforementioned strings. I have a feeling that this is a precursor, like a number of other elements that get enhanced or become usable or important as new versions of the SWF are posted.
