look at the shadows on the buildings and then look at the shadows on the 'cude' there point 180' the wrong way.

That appears to be in the town of Hilversum, in the netherlands, just a bit southeast of Amsterdam. Truly bizarre looking. I dont really know how it could be described as a "fFake", given the context. In a purely real world sense, it probably isn't the cube. But man .. what in blazes is that!?!? It looks like something is attached to the roof of someone's backyard garage.

Possibly one of those instances where Google, et al. were convinced to obscure a certain image for national security or other reasons? There's also the Red, Blue and Green dots in that locale just a little ways northwest.
But isn't this area like the Hollywood of the Netherlands?

Is an interesting photo. Can't get a good map of the area to figure out what it might be, or even what building it is.

The town is a big media centre. Anybody over a certain age will remember tuning their radios to Hilversum.... So I've been told Smile

Eh, weird. I'm trying to see if this is some sort of media stunt though, as Hilversum is indeed most-known here for being the town all notable TV-stations are broadcasting from... it has a huge media park that is not far from that location.

There's a new show around since a few weeks called The Golden Cage, some sort of real-life Big Brother rip-off with people in a "golden villa", and this looks litke it might be some sort of promotional stunt for that... although it would seem unlikely Google Earth would lend itself for that kind of thing... (willingly at least Very Happy

i'm gonna guess that's a hole in the original film slide, and the starburst effect is the light from the scanner shining directly through.
