I was looking all over, trying to find if it was from the movie Heavy Metal or what....I went to youtube and searched for things like "earth exploding", "planet exploding", "asteroid"...... and somehow one of the results was this one...

I do think it is some sort of game, due to some of the posts by 127911AnGeL771013 at ATS.....towards the end of the thread, they made reference to "games will be played, prizes will be awarded".....The entire thread was later trashed because ATS saw it as a marketing scheme by someone.....

 		Okay, so I emailed last night, and I just got a reply

What I sent:
Tell me what to do. I'm here to find Hank and his daughter. Just tell me where to look. I can wait until the 13th, just tell me you're listening. That's all I ask.

and this morning, this was in my inbox.

So I'm guessing whatever it is is acknowledging that I'll be waiting until the thirteenth. That's okay, as long as whoever it is knows I'm here. So I replied:
Then I am waiting. Whenever you're ready.

I'll post if there's any more emails....but here's a really dumb question: has anyone tried decoding the URL as a hex code? It kinda looks that way to me, but I could be wrong....

 		the vid is absolutely not HHGTTG related. in hitchhiker, the earth was destroyed by a fleet of ships in orbit.

it looks like the style of heavy metal, but i'm not sure it comes from there... i dont recall that particular shot, but its been a while since i watched it.

 		Hi all. I'm new to ARGs. I popped over here from Godlike. Please don't hold it against me. I've been following this thread from nearly the beginning and I felt now was the time to register and toss my pennies in:

I don't think the origin of the video is a clue, ie., HM or HGTG, etc. It seems obvious that the video was swiped from henny, degraded in the copying and addition of an end title, plus that strange icon at the lower right hand corner. If Henny were in on it, then the video would likely have been of the same quality.

I understand a simple curiousity about it, but I doubt it will unlock any clues.

I was trying to explain this game to my wife last night, but I found it difficult to convey the excitement one feels at attempting to solve a mystery.

The cleverness you've demonstrated is impressive and I expect we will unlock many more doors before the 13th.

I agree it's probably not a clue, but my interest in its origin is that I think if we knew it was original (though it appears not to be), we might begin to guess what the whole thing is about. In other words, if this is were original to Yshk Lanti, we might start looking for other pieces of animation to put together with it to form whatever storyline Yshk is presenting.

Since this doesn't appear to be original, we should probably look elsewhere.

 		Ok folks, I got bored today and tried to transcribe the sounds contained in the yshklanti.mp3....I emailed YshkLanti with them, and asked if I was even close....no reply....I think they aren't going to reply to me anymore, until the 13th at least...

Anyways, here's what I came up with......To me, it sounds like the same language written in the code and in the videos.....

"En nenene tama, penen hashi keenlin nimo con. Tian va le son merlakse de penen de gai. Tian va lanti, tian va la. En masa uh stalen."

It's all phonetical, not sure about the spelling...but I can definitely hear the words "Gai, Lanti, and La"....the same words that we have seen come after Yshk.....

I'm almost at a loss for where to go next....I emailed "them" about abashment being the only word that was left black on u.html....no reponse...

Good luck....keep me in the loop.....

On the very front page, there are a few types of backgrounds (One that looks victorian in style, one that has a picture of a girl on it, another with a picture of a boy on it, anOTHER with an idiot boy on it, and one---that has an eye at the top of the page...) Keep refreshing until you find the Eye!
The page has a timer set for almost the exact time as our site (seconds off), as well as a phrase "The End is Near...Be Prepared!"
lemonysnicket.com is a promotional site for Lemmony Snicket's new book "The End: Book the Thirteenth"
