If we consider koldaaj = humanity then perhaps kol = a human?
More likely Kold = Human or even Kolda = human

We don't have either of those in our current lexicon, though, whereas we DO have kol . Of course, it's possible that "man/human" as opposed to "humanity" hasn't yet shown up in any of our text so it could still be kold or kolda .

"There?" Makes more sense in context, I think.

text well, with the letters we know through the the translations the text would be (dots are letters we NOT know yet):
un ytan un kiyu .yr.en ny .zan ny..ar
i..., esolot.l.. .n ytar .ts.yr .n tei i

Here's my best guess:
Un ytar un kiyu kynpen ny jzan nympar ikwk esolot alad kn ytar utahyr.
Unfortunately, there don't seem to be a lot of familiar words to work with. I emailed it for confirmation. If I hear back or anyone has a better transcription, I'll update the lexicon.

i've been trying to work on some translations but all i have are guesses. i figured since we weren't moving ahead too quickly, i'd post some of my guesses and see what people think.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ra nnra koldaaj, jal hasya adjnak ny nukvad
TO PRESERVE HUMANITY, YOU MUST SEEK THE GIRL
or
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ra nednai ny takma, peynin hasya keilyn ny moquin.
TO UNDERSTAND THE END, WE MUST KNOW THE BEGINNING.
i think moquin=beginning because the first new flash file after oct 13th was called fh_moquin.swf.
any other ideas?

I hadn't thought to connect nukvad = girl, but I've been making similar guesses on many of the other words. I had also thought moquin = beginning; besides the new flash file appearing at "the beginning", the layout images on /curiosity are all called "itbegins_##." So I think that's a pretty strong connection. Also, the syntax of "To ____ the end, you must ____ the beginning" sounds similar to the communication we've had so far.

nukedog, I think we don't need the spoiler tags on the thread whose entire point is to translate the language...
I think peynin must also mean "us" as well as "we," or the phrase di peynin di Gai , "of [us] of Gai," wouldn't work at all.
Edit: Unless it means "you" in which case we don't have to worry about the two different declensions.

Portugal is a country whith many connections with Atlantis and the possibility of somes words tradition.
So I think
LINGUALA - Lingua - Language
DI - da/do/dos - of
GAI - GAIA/TERRA - Earth
LANTI - Atlantida - Atlantis

EN - Em - In
Un - Um - One
DI - De - Of

i think it would make more sense if EN = AND.
i feel like i'm getting close to a translation of one of the original bits:
Ra nednai ny takma, peynin hasya keilyn ny moquin. Teyailn vyl esun mrkzai di peynin di Gai, teyailn vyl Lanti, teyailn vyl La, en masi ust awlyn.
=
TO [UNDERSTAND?] THE END, [PEOPLE?] [MUST?] [KNOW?] THE [BEGINNING?]. THERE [WAS?] [THREE?] [KINDS?] [?OF?] [PEOPLE?] [?OF?] [?EARTH?], THERE [WAS?] ATLANTIS, THERE [WAS?] La, [AND?] masi ust awlyn
thoughts?
