If it acts like spam, I'd say nuke it. If the PMs mean us to read it but our spam filters kill it, they'll fix it.

I conjecture...
I suppose you are correct...

Greetings!

Yes, I suppose that it was just spam. But it seemed so unlikely that this would actually contain that e-mail address with the name "Loki" in the address. How could a spammer get a one-time address I made just for this game? That sounds pretty strange to me...

Ant Colony Algorithm

The ant colony algorithm is an algorithm for finding optimal paths that is based on the behavior of ants searching for food. (data)

At first, the ants wander randomly. When an ant finds a source of food(data), it walks back to the colony leaving "markers" (pheromones)(a "trail of clues") that show the path has food(Intel). When other ants come across the markers(posts), they are likely to follow the path with a certain probability(what you are all doing). If they do, they then populate the path with their own markers as they bring the food back.(false leads/dead ends) As more ants find the path(understand), it gets stronger (grows) until there are a couple streams of "ants" traveling to various food sources(posts) near the colony(forum).

Because the ants drop pheromones every time they bring food, shorter paths are more likely to be stronger, hence optimizing the "solution." In the meantime, some ants are still randomly scouting for closer food sources. A similar approach can be used find near-optimal solution to the traveling salesman problem.

Once the food source is depleted, the route is no longer populated with pheromones and slowly decays.

Because the ant-colony works on a very dynamic system, the ant colony algorithm works very well in graphs with changing topologies. Examples of such systems include computer networks, and artificial intelligence simulations of workers.

P.S. the band "concorde" doesn't exist....look it up outside the two given sources on their site or on purevolume. (i went to download them on my ipod and they do not exist there...).....all the sources keep feeding one way....if you'd open your perception (00) you'll see it all in front of your faces but instead of trying to help or debunk the conclusions...a little positivity and dee thought never hurt anyone, after all, noone has the real answers yet do they.....?

I see we are missing a smiley we had before the last hack. I really need it now. Fellow ants, are you with me?!

And -- hudey, I would do the same thing you did. It is very weird. I would mark it "highly unlikely but I'll keep my eye on it". Because you never know for sure until later. Just be careful about confirming your email address for all those spammers by reading their mail. These guys (Our PMs) have always managed to generate emails that made it to my Inbox and not the spam folder. Trust 'em.

Not sure if this is repeat, but we found a phone number in posters.

1 - 3 roses
2 - 1 moon
3 - 3 shoes
4 - 5 clocks
5 - 2 bells
6 - 5 handcuffs
7 - 1 owl
8 - 4 bugles
9 - 2 doves
10 - 3 cards

313 525 1423

It rings through and asks for a message, like any ordinary cell phone. It's probably wrong, so please don't spam it. =)

Also, 23 is a Telnet port.

Before anyone else tries calling it, consider the solve for that puzzle:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1 - 3 roses
2 - 1 moon
3 - 3 shoes
4 - 5 clocks
5 - 2 bells
6 - 5 handcuffs
7 - 1 owl
8 - 4 bugles
9 - 2 doves
10 - 3 cards

smoke color = white

I doubt that was ever meant to also be used as a phone number, and I doubt the person at the other end wanted anything to do with VPG.

The reason we tried to extract a clue from the solve was due to the absence of the gold cain, and other factors pointing to Posters as the key to the Meta.

I am sure this puzzle contains the "Window", or a path to the "Window", that we are meant to crawl through.

"It took him 2 weeks to figure out to crawl through the window".

VPG has been going on 2 weeks.

Could someone olease scan in the fax that is received as part of the meta trail?

My number from the UK doesn't seem to be acceptable to the system asking for a fax number (assuming I should enter 01144...)

Few thigns bugging me.

1. for puzzle two it says (top right) step right up and see the vanishing point.

in art a vanishing point is where the lines make depth i.e. last supper. So, there is something we are supposed to see.

2. She says (congrats video):
"I guess you are kinda a magican too. You have sawed a lady in hald"

Everyone is looking past this and going straight toward mourming rock. The rock thing, I think, is misdirection.

according to wiki P.T. Selbit designed the stunt/trick of sawing a women in half and was the first too do it.

....

A scan of the fax can be found here, on page three of this thread.

Here's why I dismiss her comment...she kepts talking about herself as continuously disappearing...since that was the week 2 video and there are only 4 weeks to this...she's half gone already

Just my personal reason for dismissing it

Thanks enaxor, I hadn't spotted that.

I now realise that the text on the wiki:
Quote:
Flight: 394 Track this Flight From: Seattle to San Jose, CA Date: Wednesday, January 10, 2007 Page Last Updated: 9:57:14 AM update Departure Scheduled Actual Gate Arrival Scheduled Actual Comments Alerts Seattle 9:55 AM 9:49 AM D9 San Jose, CA 12:08 PM ETA 11:51 AM N/A
is nothing to do with what is written on the fax!

I don't see how flight AK394 is from Seattle to San Jose - what airline is that supposed to be?
