<rose> look, while you're here why don't you talk to us a minute?
<rose> Marcus said he pretty much pushed us off to you so he wouldn'y be annoyed.
<rose> wouldn't
<SLake> It's really just an FYI. Marcus and I cleared up our communications issue.
<rose> have you heard anything else from Ms. Church?
<SLake> I'm bound by an agreement signed before L3 was retained. I cannot release any information regarding the buyer.
<SLake> Ms. Church, that's a different issue.
<SLake> She's got quite a temper.
<rose> That's what Marcus said
<SLake> From the several conference calls I've had with her and company. I definitely say she's a strong puritan sprit.
<SLake> spirit
<SLake> It runs in her family.
<rose> "puritan" like work ethic?
<rose> or "puritan" like judgemental?
* SLake nods
<rose> um. which one

<SLake> I seriously think she would have handles herself quite fine alongside her great great grandfather. <rose> what is her family's name
<SLake> Church.

<SLake> judgemental isn't exactly what I meant. She's just very... strong minded. <rose> determined?
<SLake> I do apologize for the new delay.

OK, followup post:
I'm at work so I don't have much time, but I found a Willam S. Church b. Sep 9/1831 in Cortland County, NY (from Rootsweb).
Also, found a bunch of Church's who were politicians/Judges...the comment re: puritan/judgemental made me think either a Judge or a Quaker or something.
Here is the link for the politicians/judges named Church:
http://politicalgraveyard.com/bio/church.html
That's all for now...

EDIT: look for Chief Justice Church, New York court of Appeals in mid 1800's--involved in constitutional cases. I can't find his first name, or Date of Birth, but he died in 1880.
EDIT #2: OK folks, I think I might have found him....Chief Justice Sanford Elias Church, b. 18Apr1815, d. 14May1880. Here is a link to his brief biography: http://famousamericans.net/sanfordeliaschurch/ .
Could this mean that Ms. Church is related to Elias somehow? Or am I just SPEC'ing waay too much???
EDIT #3 (Sorry): found this website for a modern day Sanford Church, Public Defender in New York: http://rin.buffalo.edu/c_orle/safe/defe/defe_agen/orle_acp.html . I tried to email him but the email came back undeliverable. Sounds like a strange email for a public defender...is this ingame?

I really like the idea of this one. But with my track record it probably means it's wrong. I'm glad someone else got somewhere with this. I was going for a purtian/pilgrim (maybe a decendant of the mayflower pilgrims) angle, but that didn't pan out.

Ms. Church's family history has been somethign L3 has seriously decided
to look into. I can't say any judges have come up while we dug.
Stephen
Guess I was on the wrong track....!
Now I'm thinking Frederic Church, the "Puritan" artist....

Judgemental was my word not his: sorry if that put you on the wrong track.
Quick cakculation: to make the math simple I estimate her birth in 1975 and that male in her family tree was 25 at the birth of the next. (does that make sense.) Probably they were younger, but this is just a rough guess.
I think her great-great grandfather had to be born sometime around or after 1875.
if she was born in 1975
say her father was born in 1950
grandfather 1925
great-grandfather 1900
great-great grandfather 1875

Mr. Church has shown himself to be a man of uncommon sagacity and discreetness of judgment, of scrupulous integrity and gentlemanly demeanor.

I found this Church family history, the family has been here since about the beginning of the US. They came for religous freedom because they were Puritans.

Interesting note:
* Francis Pharcellus Church (1839-1906), son of Pharcellus, editor and lawyer, author of the famous editorial "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus."

Apparently, the name Alecia is a variant of the name Alice, as found on this website:

A possible clue?

Another Church I found (although I doubt this is the one) is from a company that was formed in 1846 by two newenglanders, "Church and Dwight Co". They are better known as "Arm and Hammer".

This just in from S Lake:
[19:22] lll_pllc: Did you find your Ms. Church's bloodline yet?
[19:22] the_rowan72: Unfortunatly I haven't. I've tried several different paths, but have come to a dead end on all of them.
[19:22] lll_pllc: That's too bad.
[19:22] the_rowan72: Any advice you could give me?
[19:23] lll_pllc: Did you know her ancestry actually knew Paul Revere?
[19:23] the_rowan72: Really? That's very interesting.
[19:24] the_rowan72: Did he fight in the Revolutionary War as well?
[19:24] lll_pllc: *Nods
Hopefully this will help.
Edit: List of Revolutionary War Vets with Mayflower descent: http://members.aol.com/mayflo1620/revolutionary_war.html
While Church shows up as ancestors name, only one vet has the last name of Church: Willard Church.

Maybe I found the Mr./Dr. Church ?? It's from the "True Story of Paul Revere".
Quote:
One such, Dr. Benjamin Church, was so bold in his public alliances with the fomenters of rebellion that he for a long time escaped detection. He was a well-known character, being, in 1774, a member of the Provincial congress from Boston, and also physician-general to the army then forming. Essaying an active interest in the plans for resisting British aggression, he became a member of the "Sons of Liberty," and was in the habit of attending the caucuses at the Green Dragon Tavern.
...
"We held our meetings at the Green Dragon Tavern. We were so careful that our meetings should be kept secret, that every time we met every person swore upon the Bible that they would not discover any of our transactions but to Messrs Hancock, Adams, Doctors Warren, Church, and one or two more.
About November, when things began to grow serious, a gentleman who had connections with the Tory party but was a Whig at heart, acquainted me, that our meetings were discovered, and mentioned the identical words that were spoken among us the night before. We did not then suspect Dr. Church, but supposed it must be some one among us. We removed to another place, which we thought was more secure; but here we found that all our transactions were communicated to Governor Gage. (This came to me through the then Secretary Flucker; he told it to the gentleman mentioned above.) It was then a common opinion, that there was a traitor in the Provincial Congress, and that Gage was possessed of all their secrets…
Hopefully it's a start.
