[META] ARGFest Boston 2008: Who would you invite to speak? We're in the process of starting to invite speakers to ARGFest Boston. ( No, we haven't settled on a weekend yet, but we can start making a list) In SF we had a great mix of topics, thanks to the input of a lot of people. I have a number of my own ideas, but I would love to see who the forums suggest we include.
So, given the ability to invite anyone, who would you invite?
No guarantees as to who we can get, but there is no harm in inviting someone. I'm curious to see who people will come up with.
(by the way, Trent Reznor is still on the list from last year. )

After all the questions I was getting from PMs about "why do you play...what do you like in a game....what would make you want to play a game...do you mind product placement...etc"; I thought maybe the PMs would like to see a "player panel" where they can ask these types of questions of ARG players.

Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel?
Seriously though I agree with Konamouse on that - some of the more prolific players to discuss what draws them to the games and what they'd like to see from future developments.
Trent would be cool, but beyond that I'd personally like to see someone who was a decision maker for a company that used someone to develop a game for them. I think this would give us the ability to see from the perspective of the people who have commissioned some of the great games out there.

Granted I only played one game this year, but I'd like to see someone from Fundi Technology there. It'd be interesting to hear about running the website from Deus City

Any chance of getting the people at CourtTV who decided to launch "Save My Husband" -- and/or the techies who ran it for them?

I'm sure I can find a phone number and email for Catherine. Or she can be reached at gameLab. I think team management/moral is a specialty for which she does presentations.
