[BLOG][MARKUS] Markus will leave to another country New blog from Markus:

Markus

I vanish for some time
Well, perhaps "vanish" is the wrong word. I will go away for some time.
I am Thumos and I have enough courage to fulfill this mission on my own.
There are many countries on this world where nobody has heard something about the lost ring. Perhaps there is somewhere someone who can help us?
I will fly, as far as I know, at Wesnesday. I do not know if I will tell you where I fly until I arrived there - I am still afraid, that "Theo" will show up.
I am pretty sure that he is actually in a foreign country and it would be easy for him to find me at the airport. However, I have an idea who Theo could be... The answer will probably surprise you.
As I said in the video with Ariadne some time ago - we could not travel all the time together. Ariadne will stay here in Cardiff while I visit a country far away...
Whish me luck and keep care of yourselves.
Markus
He has an idea who Theo is!

surprising Theo Hmmm, we may find the identity of Theo surprising? Who would be a surprising Theo:
1) Eli Hunt. Seems way too complicated for that to be, unless his Jekyll and Hyde sides aren't aware of each other.
2) Any of the six athletes.
3) Renata. Larissa?
4) Ronald McDonald. (You can't tell he's thousands of years old underneath the clown makeup.)

Markus has sent me an email after I wrote him, that it would be a good idea to share his secret about Theo - just in case something happens to Markus.
He has not told the name, but gave a nice hint. He asked me to keep the secret until he is 100% sure. So we have to wait a little bit, I guess.

I have a theory...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What if Theo was... Kai? Maybe Theo is not just from Theodosius, but from Theseus, the one who was helped by Ariadne in greek mythology. Most of the tales tell how Theseus abandoned her in an island after escaping the labyrinth...
or it could be bunnies

Yes, I agree with the suggestion that you should post this with a spoiler tag..
Markus the IG character wrote your IG self with this information, but here on this board your OOG can share that information with others. The tricky part would be then that the rest of us couldn't necessarily act on that information because our IG selves shouldn't know it.
Do what you like though

Don't betray his trust. I only think it would be okay to reveal it if we can't get ahold of him after/during his trip AND we think he's in danger (ie, it's essential for saving him).
Alternately, email him and ask if it's okay to share.

[META] If I could be sure that everybody would treat this as OOG (out of game) when communicating with IG (ingame) characters, I won't hesitate to post it. But I think that this is a quite big ARG and that there are too many people, which are still confused by the OOG/IG concept of ARGs. (like I am somtimes, too )
I do not think, that Markus' speculation is really helpful at the moment. And the way he formulated it (with this mixture of german wording with english grammar) the speculation is a little bit ambiguous.
But I think I know what he meant
And... if you read Eli's answer to Jasper and think like L'el, you probably end up with the same speculation.
[/META]

I'm sorry but I find this annoying.
*Especially* if it is ambiguous, then that's all the more reason to share. Cryptic hints about how we can figure it out on our own are just, well, annoying.

All this "meta" business is what confuses me....after all, this is not a game, right?

Well, the game doesn't think of itself as a game. That much is true.

I've been thinking about this OOG vs IG stuff. What if AUZ505 shared the information(Markus' hint) to me through private message in the IG forum. Does my acquired information makes it IG?

Think of it this way...Markus told him a secret, so it's down to his personal morals whether he wants to share it or not. If he reveals it or if he keeps it, it's all IG.
In the end, that blending is the immersive element of this thing. Personally I don't like the 'meta' and 'oog/ig' labeling and separation of info, because it's more fun that way - I can enter the realm of suspended disbelief and don't get jarred back to 'reality'. Which is also why I'm nudging with the "tinag" tag.

Thanks lhall, I hope Markus spill the beans already, anything about Theo would help us find more infos about the counter-agonothethai.
