[WIKI] Twitter translations needed I've gotten caught back up (again) on making sure all the tweets are archived for all the amnesiacs and their friends.
However, the translations for everything is robotrans, and they suck.. to say the least. You get the jist, but you're missing the nuances..
If any of our translation team can take a look and update where appropriate that would be AWESOME.
There is some stuff in the tweets that I think we are missing..requests for help, ideas on things, etc. I think we need to be more timely in dealing with some of them.

Google is much happier with the latin based languages... the asian ones are the real disasters...

I just took a look at Markus' tweets and corrected some mistakes. No "real disasters" on that side, too, that's true.

This was only asking for the translations TO English, since that's the primary language of this forum/wiki.
I think other than the Codex translations, character interactions translations need to be done on a per community basis.. Dunno who's running a Japanese or Mandarin wiki.
I appreciate the quick help on those guys.. they're easier to read already.

I know I keep pimping this, but the translator I set up is nice for comparing multiple translation sites side by side. Needs a bit of setting up to work right, but it's quick and easy thatswhatshesaid

So rather than doing a direct translation from one place, drop it here and compare them side by side and then pick/choose parts to make a proper translation? I'm sure it'll sound nicer... can't we just whip the translation monkeys harder?

I can't get it to work with IE. The help says to include the page into the "trusted sites", but my IE accepts only https sites as trusted sites
What I am doing wrong?

there should be a checkbox on that same window that you can uncheck to allow non-https sites to be added

Just now I replaced Noriko's newest twitter entry with Livanor's translation and three with mine. English isn't my primary language so it takes time in writing English ....

Well we appreciate you taking the time to help us out then. I wish I spoke a second or third language fluently or even casually. I used to be fairly decent at American Sign Language, but I haven't seen a video codex yet...
That rocks.. I'm glad to see that a native language resource is available. Is it used and updated often? (considering I can't read it (except through translation) to tell).. I've been wondering how some of the International communities were doing.
I'd hate to see duplication of effort. I know sometimes its considered 'bad form' to take information from one website and put it on another, but in the case of something like this where its information gathering and archiving in various languages, I would think C/P along with translate would be ok.

This Japanese wiki was setup by a friend of nagi (Okayama artifact pickupper) at her request, and maintained by several people. Updating frequency was not so high as its beginning, but recently Rumiko has made a lot of updating tasks and some new summary pages, so now in a fairly good situation. Noriko's forum got many newcomers thanks to an article at Yahoo! Japan about two ARGs (FTLR, the first ARG to Japanese, and a new commertial ARG made in Japan), so many new players must have seen the Japanese wiki.

Hip, hip, hurrah! We've finished translation of Noriko's twitters at last!
[EDIT] After I wrote this post, I watched Ariadne's videos. A sad story ....
Ummm .... "By seeing them, I killed them" .... That's like Schrödinger's cat.

Thats true. The interaction between a system and somebody who is looking at the system, modify system's properties.
But i think that Ariadne's interpretation of the system changes is wrong. It is not based in the codex... or the codex is a lie.
