It seems counterintuitive to that being a douchebag is an insult to a man. It is after all a somewhat phallic device that gets inserted in female genitalia and discharges it's liquid therein. Isn't that pretty much what a man wants to be to a woman anyway?

How in the hell is it that this is the first time anyone ever had that thought? I have never heard anyone turn that insult around like that.

I would explain how it is an insult...
a) I think most already know.
b) I totally don't want to diminish my image as a lady. A little mystery is good when it comes to women.

I almost snorted coffee out of my nose when I read your post. Very funny!

remaining OT: i understand that it is an insult.... but how? is it meant to imply that a guy does a feminine thing? like calling a guy to be a homosexual? or is it a universal insult? i get that it is a nasty thing to say to someone. i guess i don't understand why Very Happy

Dude, ok. Here is where the insult truly lies. Think on this man, if its neccesary for a woman to douche, then its probably safe to say that shes "less than april fresh", so to speak. So who the hell would want to stick ANYTHING phallic into a fish taco that has too much cheese on it? Not me, thats for damn sure. i was one of the few people that actually saw the film first, and THEN dived headfirst into all of the ARE shenanigans.

so, i agree with you fully. the film blew me away, becos i went into it without any expectations or anything. then, seeing the viral afterwards made it that much cooler for me.
