 		Maybe we can convince an admin that

was the original trailhead thread and to lock this one and unlock that one.

Well the trailhead thread filled up with bs tangents, where any actual information was being sailed over, disregarded in favor of horsing around. Then someone legitimately found the Lightbringer site and started a thread there, where they were legitimately discussing finds there....then someone rooted out Umbrati, so the thread I started for the "other" side was this one and then they found Umbrati site - now we have two legitimate threads, one for each site - which should be open to keep confusion to a minimum...so locking both to me seems a little shortsighted and unfair...after all there were 15000 Cloverfield threads of all sorts of angles and nobody closed those.



There are two legitimate sides for this particular game- no reason each one couldn't have their own thread. What's gonna happen now is all the ones who have nothing to add other than "hey joined the twinkies" will come HERE and take up room...and the ones who have found stuff on Lightbringers will come here and things will be 1. less organized and 2. create additional pages NOBODY is gonna actually sift thru to catch up, which is gonna increase the pages of posts of irritated "use the search" comments...

We weren't "in" either site anyway...don't see how we got too far along and if someone found another IG site it got handled, why lock the threads down? We had one official one for each side and then the general communal one for chit chat...I vote unlock our threads!

 		This was in reference to Lunsfords comment about newbies.

Particulary if they start, as usual, with the Trailhead thread and find themselves in the midst of one factions' discussion.

I think having the separate threads would ease confusion as well. But really, all we're dealing with here is duplicate trailheads. In the past, ARGs with multiple trailheads have usually merged in order to keep everything together. That or they've moved on to the CF forum. For now, all we have is two websites, which isn't difficult to maintain. If we want the other threads unlocked, we'll have to provide some solid reasons why they're needed (there are a couple good reasons so far, but we could use a stronger vote). Either that or we complain a lot. Whatever works. Wink

 		The problem is that each sides' faction discussion is labelled "Trailhead" when neither of them ARE the actual Trailhead thread.
