[PUZZLE] gretel.html mystery

the princess says something on www.ilovebees.com/gretel.html

she says "I found a better spy-spot on one of the Queen's secrets today by snooping around the pantry"

so maybe we could look into that mystery like wuts in a pantry or sumthing.

Traditionally, a pantry is a room in which one stores foodstuffs. It is often located in or adjacent to a kitchen. (I suppose, theoretically, one might store trout in a pantry, though I doubt it would smell very pleasant.)

In this case, the Sleeping Princess has previously used the word "kitchen" to refer to the site's recipe pages. In particular, the Princess has hidden axons for us on the unlinked recipe3.html page. One of the two most recent axons ("candidate") was located in Las Vegas, Nevada, but was not activated despite the truly heroic efforts of local Beekeepers. On Tuesday, that axon was relocated -- to Louisiana, if I recall correctly -- just as the Princess told us that she had found this "better spy-spot." Thus, the Princess is referring to the relocation of the "candidate" axon. Q.E.D.

(By the way, this has been previously discussed here and here, among other places, among other places.)

We now return you to your regularly scheduled ARG, unless anyone sees a good reason not to lock this thread. Mr. Green

Pantry

Are we sure there isn't something new on the Honey page which I take to be the pantry. 'Behind the pantry' points to a hidden page IMHO, instead of a change in geocodes. Wouldn't a spyspot for her be something like hiding be hind the thrown. She could be telling us she has more monologue from Melissa.

ok first of all i only post on this forum when other people havent posted info that could be important. i know she said kitchen and we found the recipe3 site but now this is different by finding another spot in the kitchen
near or in the pantry.

i agree that it is curous that she is reffered to the pantey , and feel that it was a refrence to a new page but it's not enough cluse to find based on that refrence alone so either there will be more "killer" clues pointing to the pantry or they may come out in conversation with the seeker. definitely worthy of note but i don't think there a trail to follow yet.

Respectfully, I have seen that explaination before, and it seems IMNotGarbage has too. The explaination is sound, but I don't know...it just doesn't sit right with me. That's part of why I made the topic in the general thread...to see if anyone else agrees with me. If anyone thinks there a riddle in Gretel, that its not a reference to the axon moving (wouldn't she have said the road moved, not the spy-spot?), and people are willing to put some effort into figuring out the puzzle (or if it even is a puzzle), then I think this thread makes perfect sense.

If that is the case, I say, "Let's get crackin! Smithers, unleash the robotic Richard Simmons!"

I'm pretty certain that this just has to do with the new coordinates for the 'candidate' axon on the recipe3 page... the PMs needed to 'tell' us that the coordinates have changed, and thus SP did. That's why she says 'better' place, meaning that she had it stored in one place (the axon that wasn't working) and after no one could find it, she found a 'better' place to put it.

Ok... so, if there is something to this, the Hives could possibly be "the pantry" since honey is stored there. (by the bees, noless)

But Honey is what is stored in the pantry and it is next to the kitchen (fun page). Jars are in pantrys. What would be behind a pantry?? --- the Dinning room?
