CMH Update - September 18th , 2004

Well who would think it would take a week for an envelope to travel two hours?

It didn't, but I've been over excited and sitting on pins and needles since being offered the rubbing. I almost called her once, but hung up, I didn't want to sound like some sort of weirdo or have her think I was harassing her. I knew she had a busy week, and assumed she'd get to it when she got to it.

But boy oh boy, that week felt like a month.

(Sorry Karen, but I was so anxious to actually see it with my own two eyes!)

It was worth the wait. Thank you.

The copy is very nice, although I still can't say if it is the gravemarker mentioned in the story, or if it even comes from CMH. I had to scan it, and it came out rather dark as I'm using a really old scanjet that I was given. Never look a gift horse in the mouth I always say, free is free. Anyway, I had to lighten it a little so it would be a bit clearer.

I will give her a call in the morning to thank her, and see if she can remember anything about its location, and if so I'll also ask if she would like to take a trip sometime soon.

Really exciting stuff, I do so love to get this kind of mail.

Charles

The image looks like a puzzle to me. Please work on it here:
