Ok, gimme a minute here.

I am not entirely sure about this, as I don't remember all 7 Trials of HABIT; but...

What if the 7 Trials the Rabbits went through were actually exercised on the crew?

The first one was to burry "an object dear to the heart of the person" - they all lost an object (or a person, even). Then the Rabbits were meant to end the contact with a close friend - that happened in the series as well (at times forced). The Rabbit's were meant to hold a speech in public for everybody to see - the crew did the youtube videos etc.

What if EMH, the series, and the 7 Trials actually amount to the same thing? What if the 7 remaining Rabbit's are merely shells for HABIT (as well as the rest of the crew), and this is all him trying to determine who's the "strongest host"?

Only question: how does this relate to Slenderman and the Rake, and what is HABIT's plan, apart of becoming "The Habitator"?

Also, did we ever figure out who the "fourth monster" was, given each kid has "his own monster"?

As for the theory that HABIT creeps into the four and heightens a certain emotion (Jeff = depression, Evan = aggression, Vince = voyeurism, Steph =??), I totally like it.

If we're talking about monsters, I have waiting for Evan to say the line, "I'm afraid of myself." for some time now. Since this last vid, the odds of him saying it have gone up significantly. I'm just waiting for it.

From a quote I heard once: "We stop looking for the monsters in our closet when we learn they are inside us."

I'm leaning toward their personal monsters to be themselves, not HABIT or Slenderman. If not that, then at least Evan's personal monster is literally/figuratively in his head. What you are in the dark, indeed.
