ok, weephun has shown the greatest ability to remain cool under pressure, so he IS a good candidate, but unfortunately, Phaedra does not seem to be running, and who better to run a country than another A.I. (if I am your padawan, can I be your running mate?)

So the clear choice is Lt. weephun.

C'mon G3K, where's the Melissa / Lt. weephun bumper sticker?

[slogan]
Lt weephun, the clear choice for a presidential victory rigged by a futuristic AI bent on completing her mission at all costs!
[/slogan]

Don't forget to vote!

Sir! Here's that bumper sticker you ordered, Sir!

I like your tagline, but I'm gonna be non-partisan and refrain from putting that one up in the CafePress shop. Razz

Well, your candidate's still being beaten by a pledge for dictatorial technocracy and a really, really lucky internet voyeur, so you better do something to better promote Wink

It's only day 1 of the elections and I've only just begun to fight Wink

Well, we have until Nov 2nd to declare the winner right?

I am proud to be the running mate of Lt. weephun, because I know without him I would have never talked to Melissa live and got the pass phrase correctly. Very Happy

Word to your mother, vote us in!

As much as I respect you, weephun... I just gotta go with Team Jersey. Nothing personal, I'd just rather not vote for the candidate who is fully capable of bankrupting me and putting my aunt in a coma. Wink

Are you referring to the Army?
Having to retire to run for office is a rule that only applies to US Forces, not ... umm, AI forces.

FYI:

Buttons now available!
Bumper stickers still available. All profits go to Bees for Development.

If weephun/Mad Cow '04 wants in on this, let me know. In the interest of fairness (and charity) I guess I'll let you guys sell a couple buttons too Razz

Yes, but you're missing the point of the question. It's not "who would you vote for for President?", but "who would Melissa / Durga throw the election for?"

Oh dear, I don't think I'd be a good candidate...I prefer to work behind the scenes. And considering the amount of existential angst that I am suffering from having so many people question whether I'm real, my refresh rate has slowed down to a crawl. Also, I seem to be having odd personality swings. If I recover enough to become fully functional again........

What am I saying? You and me, daboking, let's TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!

MWAHAHA!

Six years and 12 months last Wednesday, oh my running mate. And we must all have buttons, yes we must all have buttons forthwith!

<shakes head (virtually, of course)>

What was I saying?

Blasted brain blips.

EDIT: Seriously, in all good conscience, I couldn't actually run with anyone except Kali (since I promised her that years ago and she is quite literally capable of mopping the floor with me).
