Shouldn't be the other way around? example: 8 should be 10 and 10 should be 8.
You just rotate the card 90 degrees and read what it says, right?

What I'm saying is I think you rotated the card in the wrong direction.

...I might just have missunderstood the decoding...

Right?

I double checked but I pretty sure I did it right. Take the original and rotate 90deg clockwise each time.

...ahh sorry, clockwise. but then the second number should be four instead of two.

Isn't the picture supposed to reffer to the number below it?

Fascinating.

What the hell do we do with it?

well?

The two and four look ok too to me. And as for what we do with it, well you could say the same about the entire transport thing. Razz

If you rotate clockwise, the sequence would be 1,4,3,2 instead of 1,2,3,4.

squares

I understand what you are saying now, you are treating it as if it was laying flat on a table and you walked around viewing it from each side. What I was doing was taking the cross in the center and rotating it around but staying on the same side. Looking at both we are still describing a method of having a unique value to each state, it just we came different methods. The only clue we have is the numbers, and given they are pointing outward from the squares I think your method might be more correct than mine.
