DoEP was updated about the Eidolon's plans for Sara's son, Alan Thomas.

Jayne posted on the LJ that Happy was heartsick over Ben and is ready to cross over into the nave in a deal with the Eidolon to get him released. mrfangs continued his taunting (he claimed he was just putting on a good show for the Eidolon). He and Jayne had exchanged a lively discussion on the LJ page.

enaxor was able to convince Happy to give the Sammeeeees a little more time to complete the mission.

konamouse and lordscrubb pushed forward with the Eidolon's mission to contact Sara in order to haunt Alan Thomas. Fortunately, the emails were wisely being screened and others were answering for her. The coded message back let us know "Thanks. I will not be alone. I hope you can stop this crazy man. He must never live again." According to Sara's response to drizjr's warnings, Jean Moulin and Nedd Ludd were there. But having one who had crossed over may have put the boy in danger.

MrAJ ran around MySpace posting little messages "Manus manum lavat!!!" (One hand washes the other). http://manusmanumlavat.blogspot.com/

Around 7p PST the site updated to "A special game night for my Pumpkins" leading to a page of reincarnation quotes http://www.aspecialgamenightformypumpkins.blogspot.com/

The crew in chat worked together to solve and find http://frompossibilitytoactuality.blogspot.com/ where we got a picture of Alan Thomas and a gabcast message from the Eidolon. The trail is here, and the transcript is here.

Yes, we all knew that Mr AJ has never been one to keep his side of any bargain.

Methos posted the discovery of the way out of the portal (not the actual means, just that it is known to the Darksiders and will be used when we are ready).

Eidolon gave a clue as to whom he suspects as being a "do gooder", the One and Only Jean Moulin. konamouse posted a warning on the Darkside Forum He suggested that perhaps UNBC could find the meaning of the arcane imperii and that had to leave Sara's house because he was probably the link from Eidolon to her son.

Eidolon hypothesized about using Happy as a vessel instead of Alan Thomas, or the Sammeeeee Insane. In doing so, he all but confirmed that Dwin is a blood relation. Meanwhile, Dwin's MySpace reverted back to his original avatar and the khamsa hand background, with Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" playing.

drizjr really wants to free Barney from his chains (really, she wants to reunite him with Betty, but his mortal body is already gone so she might just have to settle for unchaining his soul). She asked the DoEP how he might be freed.

Eidolon did not wait. He told mrfangs that Ben had been thrown into the in-between. "Tell the others that the next soul will be tossed tomorrow midnight." He asked mrfangs to pick one.

DoEP confirmed the news and warned us that the Eidolon is *not* a man of his word.

mrfangs delivered the bad news about Ben to Jayne via LJ. She again warned us that Happy is going to cross over to find Ben, and that she (Jayne) will personally hunt down mrfangs herself.

Meanwhile, mrfangs offered up (with his permission) Patrol to the Eidolon as the next victim/traitor to be thrown into the in-between. "Do you believe he is a traitor to your Pater? . . . . So be it!!! Patrol Pumpkin will join Peeps and the others in the in-between!!!"

Happy is NOT HAPPY and posted her intentions to cross over to the darkside in an attempted deal with the Eidolon in order to save Ben. Sammeeeees quickly reminded her that Patricia attempted the same thing and was dupped. And Nedd's dream might have been a prophecy of her being lost in the nave forever, never finding her son.

Sammeeeees continued working for days on the arcane imperii manuscript with no meaningful progress. Nedd informed us that Dick White "TOTALEEE knows what this is!!!" and suggested a s�ance to talk to him. And the Sammeeeees flocked to the chat room.

Sammeeeees performed the s�ance to contact Dick White and left a small puzzle trail to find it (will be added here once the PM has found it).

Addison heard the s�ance and came to the hatch to the in-between. He's very grateful to have heard Insane calling out. He agrees to search for Dick White.
Soon Peeps showed up. He asked who else was calling out into the in-between. And Sammeeeees answered him.

Folks in the in-between were busy last night talking. The S&D Nun found her way back to the hatch. And thank goodness Ben showed up. And shortly after Patrol was tossed into the in-between by the Eidolon (he volunteered to be accused of being a "do-gooder"), he also found his way to the group. mrfangs got confirmation that the Eidolon was not going to release anyone, of course he wouldn't keep to any bargain � that's just his nature. But we knew that.

Later in the evening, Addison brought Dick White to the hatch and he cryptically spoke to us. Here is the transcript. He pointed out three important words from the arcane imperii: "veritas lux mea" and further instructions:

Dick White wrote:

To bring the souls who stand before you out of the in-between,
You must remove the hatch, Sammeeeees.
Once you remove the hatch,
those immortal bodies will be at your side in the temple.
They will be able to follow you to the portal to escape.

He will not be coming with; he was honored to have known us and thanked us for all our sacrifices.
http://veritasluxmeathreetimes.blogspot.com/ has a column of brick walls. In the source there were coded instructions.

Code:

mithrasyoursungodatrockdotcom remove the three bricks and in place of these bricks you will kneel before his light with truth. mithras will come to you.

konamouse figured out the login for the page and found a draft post with a picture kneelbeforehislightwithtruth.bmp. She replaced three of the brick walls in the proper place as instructed. She then recorded a message to the Eidolon suggesting he take those imprisioned under the nave, Trinket, Patricia, Mildred, Tall Man (if he's still down there), and toss them all into the in-between.

Word was left on Happy's [url] http://www.gabcast.com/index.php?a=author&uid=18002]LJ[/url] about Ben's whereabouts; Jayne's mood was much improved. And Insane updated Happy, who was "trying to be Happy" and offered Addison a place to stay after he was released.

Red Hatty and Sheep were tossed into the in-between by the Eidolon this morning.

Dwin posted a MySpace bulletin announcing he was okay and Mister Gerold was with him, but he asked about his mother.

Higgs got the message and will meet us in "room 21"

Dick White let go of Addison's hand and wandered away last night. The others are sticking together.

The Eidolon told konamouse that he is ready for his reincarnation into little Alan Thomas and ordered her to bring Betty into the nave.

Meanwhile, the Sammeeeees need to decide on the three favors to ask of Mithras. Check the discussion here so a consensus can be reached before he asks.

In the evening our friends in the inbetween have been gathering near the hatch. October asked them to share their hearts desire (before we asked our three favors).

More Darksiders were thrown into the inbetween this morning. Takis and randomeis joined Mildred and Trinket. Those in the inbetween let us know that Addison wanted to go into the forevermore with Dick White, hoping to find his family. Mildred wants to make sure that the Eidolon can never harm the world again. Tall Man was heard crying and Peeps tried to comfort him.

It was suggested that maybe Betty can get closure if she posts a message to Barney on her old blog, and that maybe the DoEP will be able to answer her questions. Eidolon [ur=http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=370134#370134]updated[/url] his MySpace blog with a tease about getting #30 very soon, and showing a picture of young Alan Thomas. He suggested that Sara would not necessarily be an appropriate mother and began his campaign to make mr fangs and konamouse his new parents.

Later in the day Taluria and Bravil were tossed into the inbetween. And Eidolon let loose a little rant aimed at Jean Moulin. Funny, he fancied mr fangs, his new prot�g�, as a young Brad Pitt type.

Dwin is his old self and updated his LJ. Mister Gerold has been explain to him what happened. Poor fellow didn't know what happened to Patricia.

October and Lacey proclaimed their allegiance in the gabcast, to avoid the fate of Katyaand Luna (thrown into the inbetween today).

The long discussion about our three favors resulted in the following:

1. We come in truth & light, and ask our first favor: Please allow all those deserving souls (innocents who's mortal bodies were killed by Mr Alan Johnson) past from the inbetween into the forever after (this includes Dick White, Addison, Tutu, Dr Kinder, and the breaking of the chain that holds Barney to the false pater).
2. We come in truth & light, and ask for our second favor: Please reunite Patricia Moore and Dwin together and allow them to live as a proper family in the real world.
3. We come in truth & light, and ask for our last favor: That you make sure the lying Ediolon is properly punished (in a manner as you see fit) and kept from harming anyone ever again.

Nedd wrote that Eidolon's haunting of Alan Thomas has gotten worse.

Raistlin, Falusi, and Aeroseeker joined the others inbetween this morning.

konamouse informed the false Pater that Betty would be his in the evening, and to meet in her ravencell at his favorite Sammeeeee torture time (5:55pm PST).

Under the first favor request appeared "AD VITAM AETERNAM" (For All Time). At that time folks in the inbetween started moving to the foreverafter. Trinket had a hard time letting go of Tutu. Addison asked Peeps to give a hug from him to Happy. October and Lacey stayed near the hatch all day, ready to spring into action.

DoEP was released when Mithras granted our first favor. He helped us find Patricia who was in here http://mortalemteessememento.blogspot.com/ and Methos figured out how to open her cell to release her. Needless to say, when the Eidolon found out�..

Later in the morning, "QUAERE" and "PRIMA LUCE" appeared under the second favor request (Seek At Dawn).
Higgs did not find Patricia until she was safely "Under the Bed" in Room 21. He went there to wait for us.

In the afternoon, "MITHRAS IUDICIUM" was placed under the third favor. IUDICUM = judgment, trial, or decision.

This evening the Eidolon was heard screaming in MySpace about the release of Patricia from her cell. He commented "Patricia est mihi, Patricia non est tibi" all over MySpace. He suggested that she didn't have a mortal body. And reminded the Good Doing Sammeeeees that there was no escape from the temple without his blessing (little did he know�..)
He also added a new blog "Guess who's coming to dinner" with the picture of Alan Thomas

8/8 - 8/24: End of Eidolon, Bye to Barney, Peeps is a DAD!

End of the Eidolon
The events of the evening of Aug 8th played out in the thread. The chat room log is also posted here.
In summary:
The Eidolon was heard screaming throughout the nave, yelling for his loyal Leos to help him find Patricia Moore.

1. The Eidolon appeared in http://ravenkonacell.blogspot.com/ at the appointed time of 5:55pm PST. Leo Kona Pumpkin Kitten??? Meow...
2. kona posted a picture of a blond "woman" (Alexis Arquette) and changed the pw to the cells, locking him in for the moment.
3. October released the hatch (removed the picture of the door) and all those inbetween followed her to El Portal Room 21.
4. Once everyone was out through the portal, a tribute to Mithras was put in place http://elportalmotelroomtwentyone.blogspot.com/ and the pw was changed, keeping the Eidolon from ever using it again.

The Eidolon still believed that lordscrubb was loyal, and he screamed for vengeance:

Higgs was one of the first of the Sammeeeees to reappear (his MySpace reverted back to it's pre-Nave background about 90 minutes after the great escape). Around the same time, Jayne posted on Happy's LJ that Ben woke up from his coma. And then Trinket.

Barney was now free to give his farewell message to Betty.

Patricia Moore, with some nasty bruises and smelling a little like a bog, was found walking along the road, telling the cops her name was Cathy Kuttner. Happy posted the information in her LJ.
Kevin posted a similar story on kona's MySpace comments.

My Mom says hi. She's still in bed and I'm right next to her typing on my Mom's laptop. The State Police found my Mom walking along the road early this morning. She's kinda got cuts and a bad bruise on her neck but she said it doesn't hurt or anything. Sara Walker just called and spoke to Peeps. She and Alan are coming up this weekend to visit. And Mildred and the Tall Man are coming in like five or six days. They're driving from California to see us! I've never been so happy in my life. We wish you were with us right now. Peeps said he will have Happy take some great pictures of his garden to show you guys.

Lots of love and support were left for Trinket by the Sammeeeees. She changed the MySpace back to it's original configuration and later left a blog message.

Higgs left a thank you message in a video.

Happy contacted kona about something that mrfangs had said to Peeps a few days previously�..turns out that just before we trapped The Eidolon, when he was yelling about his invincibility, he shared some interesting information with mrfangs that we only just found about about:

I SUPPOSE MY BROTHER, THOMAS, IS BEHIND THIS COUP!!!??? TELL ME, MR. FANGS, DID YOU TELL YOUR FELLOW SAMMEEEEES ABOUT MY BROTHER AND MR. DALTON TRUMBO'S WIFE? HE IS NOT THE SWEET AND INNOCENT MAN THEY THINK HE IS!!! HE IS, AFTER ALL, MY BROTHER!!!

Seems mrfang innocently asked Peeps what this meant and it sent our dear friend into tears!

Happy posted her concerns on her LJ. She had no idea what was going on, but we had it figured out. Then Cathy Kuttner/Patricia Moore gave us the backstory. Kevin is the biological son of Peeps and the wife of the late Spoocheeeee Elder Communist Dalton Trumbo, Margaret! Peeps believed for years that when Margaret was killed in Room 505, the baby was also murdered.

Mildred & Timothy finally told Happy the whole story. They planned to sit down with Peeps to explain it all to him. But it didn't go the way they expected. Happy wrote out what happened in her LJ.

Happy wrote:

�. And I don't know what came over me but I didn't think softening the blow was necessary - I got to my feet and said, "Peeps, Kevin is your son. You thought they killed him, but they didn't. Patricia knew about this and hasn't been able to tell you for so many reasons, but there it is. It is good news. You're son is alive and it is Kevin!" And everyone looked at me like I was high. Cathy started crying. Peeps was in shock. I walked over and hugged him and said, "We should tell Kevin." Peeps got to his feet and started toward the house... but then, he kept on walking. He walked out the front gate and down the street�.

Peeps was still missing. Mildred & Timothy answered hushmails from Sammeeeees.

8/21-8/24
Peeps showed up in Santa Monica on Higgs' doorstep. The news was sent on to everyone else. However, he's not saying anything and kona had to spill the beans to Higgs. There was still no word about our S&D Nun but Mildred continued to assure us that we shouldn't worry about her. Oh, and that Higgs'comment "Cheers to life" in his video was just him being the funny man that he is. She encouraged us all to write to Peeps with open hearts.

Betty came back to the states and went to Mildred's until she & Timothy come back. She reported that Jean Moulin had been sent out to look for Peeps but is probably home by now. She thought Mr Gerold was still hanging out in Lubec "because he kinda wanted to speak to Patricia about what she had gone through."

Kevin posted an open message to Peeps on his LJ. He reminded Peeps that they were friends for awhile, and this new revelation shouldn't change that fact. But most importantly, he was very glad to hear the news.

Peeps finally found our messages and the first response posted was to drizjr.

�Margaret was the first person who saw only the kindness in my heart. My desire to be simply an ordinary man started all those years ago with Margaret. That day in the hospital, right before we were caught by Mister Trumbo, she sweetly whispered to me, "I only have one wish. I wish that you and I and the baby could run away from all of this. I wish there was no Spoocheeeee and that we could be an ordinary family�

He promised to read Kevin's journal.
